Sprinkler park birthday party...

Anyone have any recommendations on what I can use/buy to protect my camera body and lens while being able to get some good shots of my son's 5th birthday party at the local sprinkler/pool park? I have a D40 and will likely be using the 55-200 lens with a hood. There's no sand... Just water being splashed around.
