Even though the water looks disgusting it's a really beautiful picture. Compositionwise it's great with the wall introducing a strong line and the color change in the water.

I agree, Peach Comma , you took a piece of crap beach and turned it into a great photo, well done.

Seems slightly over-exposed and really harsh due to the time of day. Would prefer if you darkened it up a bit.

Ha, the water running through a near by town can be nastier. :0) You should see the stuff that collects on the locks. Hhee, if I can find pictures, Ill post them sometime.

Not to make excuses, but I have an extremely dark monitor so it's hard to tell if a picture has good contrast and all that.

The only problem I have with your picture is the aspect ratio. A deviation too far from the 35mm aspect ratio challenges me.
