Starting into Repairs

I would really love to start tinkering in my spare time and maybe start turning some eBay "for repair" cameras into working (and sellable) cameras. Anyone got some good books to look into for me? I'm pretty good with technical work, been building computer setups for a while now and always loved disassembling and reassembling electronic gadgets when I was a kid. Also did technical drafting in college (I was a design major), so I can comprehend diagrams well and everything, I'm just looking for some reading to help me understand some of the finer points of camera repair before I start into actually tearing them apart. Any advice short of "it's more complicated than you think" would be very appreciated. Thanks for reading!

I would start out with repairing older manual film cameras. I think contacting a camera repair shop with your questions might get you better answers.
