I shot these two days ago in a small park while waiting for my car being checked up for winter. It looked like autumn when I got there but in half hour it got cold and dark.
I like 1. But I think there is more in it than meets the eye just now. Tiny level adjustments (highlight/shadow) in PS could bring out the punch.
2 shows that there actually was too little light left for zooming and you got camera shake.
I really like the concept of 3 but am not happy with the clear division into two halves of the photo by the leaves in focus and those out of focus ... I would have wished for more leaves IN focus, coving a good 2/3 of the frame and only a few leaves on the right out of focus.
The background in 4 is a bit too busy.
5 is nice but the light is already fading a lot and the colourful leaves lose their colour-"punch"... which also shows in 6, and which goes with what you said: while you were waiting for your car to be prepared for the winter, it did become dark and cold. Your series here shows that .
