ok so i was reading up on softboxes,i think thats what is called so i decided to try and build my own and i just took these two pictures like 2 minutes ago,i only have one light on top so i believe theres not enough lighting on the pics..thankx for looking

its a "lightbox" but yeah i agree it needs more light. other then that looks good! i have 2 turtles =0

You need to go down two stops from what the meter is telling you if you want the background to be completely white.

Or light it with a separate light source. Which will be harder than the main light.
