Still life

My first attempt at shooting a still life with strobes.

To my mind, it works realy well. I'm far from being an expert on the field of a) stillife pictures, and b) use of strobes. I see what I see and sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't, and here I do. I like how the colour of the flower repeats itself in the edge of that mat. Also vase and glass are well arranged, very organised, nothing coincidental here. That's what I can see. Plus the fact that the dark background helps making this pleasing (nothing distracts from the stillife), exposure looks perfect, candle lights still show well, the lighting did not kill them. No distracting shadows, just a mild reflection, which is to be expected and should therefore also be there.
