Strange flowers

I found these flowers growing out of a cactus in my back yard. The colors are very true to life and each flower is avout 1-1/2" long.

They look like fairie tale flowers. Translucent, with little green lights on the tips. They seem very delicate. Do they have a scent?

You have to have your nose right on top of them to smell the scent. It's not what you expect from a flower either. It seems like more of a fruit scent.
