How well does it handle in low light compared to Nikon's and Canon's best cameras?

When you shoot with a Hasselblad, you don't put up with the mediocrity of available light... you bring the light with you!

Along with 5 assistants to carry the light, light modifiers and the coffee. Because when you own a Hassy free assistants just pop up out of the grass!
 
Keep the hassy and the studio lights. I like making incredible images with cobbled together stuff that most balk at. Natural light and vintage MF lenses are my favorite.
 
Probably one of these. An EOS 1D with the hubble attached to it.

I put a 24mm L tilt **** lens on my 7D with a 2x Extender then a 1.4x Extender at the same time.

Man was it funny looking.

It did work though.
