Such a bar is a very tough photographic subject; small space, crowd etc. I think #2 is interesting, there is something to look at in a sort of dynamic composition. But #1 has too many people's backs and not single full face in the fore plan. Also the compo is chaotic.

Agree, the cafe was tiny, there was no space whatsoever and someone was always blocking the view. I just wanted to capture the atmosphere where everyone was having fun.
 
Maybe you should try to use much shorter lenses in this kind of situation when you can get closer to the main subject and yet the background will be still preserved.
