Found her name on the net and locate a video about her photography. The photos I saw in the video are just amazing.

It makes me wonder - How many other collections of work there are, that will never be discovered?

I was amazed at the rolls of undeveloped film. She obviously spent a sizable portion of her income on film and film processing none the less.

Found this a few weeks ago, great video. It was really interesting to hear the story about her and the photos she created. Really inspired me to start shooting film.

WOW, beautiful work,

Lovely. And with a TLR, no less.

Didn't Bitter just get that camera? Agree, there is so much mystery...

Some of those are really great. I watched the video a day or so ago, when someone posted it to facebook. Interesting stuff.

Got me to CBS. Nice to see her work again

The unfortunate thing about Vivian Maier is that many places refuse to exhibit her work because many of the prints were not processed by her as the artist but rather by a processing company after her death. So it is in fact THEIR interpretation of her work as opposed to her own. At least that is how some scholarly circles see it.

Well, really, i wonder what they say about RIchard Avedon ( and a lot of others) who never printed their own works.

Silly me, i already know the answer to that , but sometimes I think these "scholarly circles" are just tooooooooooo much.
