Student Portrait workflow

So I got contracted by a school to photograph an 8th grade graduating class. I am estimating approximately 300 students or so. I am working with lightroom, cs5, and smugmug for proofing, does anyone have ideas for workflow?

Isn't Bridge the best workflow option, especially since you are already working with cs5?

I am more focused on organizing the students rather than the editing process

I recommend Photolynx. I worked with Desktop Darkroom as the distributor. Great program. Lets me input the school's CSV file with names, ID, homeroom etc.. I input packages or send all the images to my printer for proofs. It also has everything you need to output the yearbook CD for lots of companies including Lifetouch, Herf Jones etc.
