Sunset at Bodega Bay, Pelicans In The Sun

I was shooting the sunset at Bodega Bay, California (site of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds") when I noticed some pelicans taking off from an area to my left.

As they crossed between me and the sun I got this:

Wowzer... That's an impressive photo! I really like, I do wonder however what it would be like if it was cropped in tighter knocking out the rocks and making the birds bigger?
