SUNSET HELP

Last night I took some pictures of a sunset. While I am happy with the composition something doesn't seem right. could it be the focus?
any suggestions on how to make it a better shot?

Awesome photo! I wonder if you could crop the bottom a bit to draw your focus away from the blackness on the lower portion of your image.

I agree... there is to much darkness at the bottom of the photo so your more drawn to look there instead of the sunset.... crop a bit of that off and I think that might help.
