Too much of the ground. Bring more sky into the frame. But otherwise lovely :) that's just my amateur opinion.

I think the film part of me says there are no rules in photography, but tis true you are complying to the rule of thirds.

I like it also. I really enjoy golden hour skylines, but I am curious... what is that line on the right side of the image?

The line is from her camera, it shows up in all her pictures.

I'm really mad i was working when you got to take these...ughhhhh.
Like 10 minutes before you shot these the sky looked like 10x's prettier.

grr.

You sorta need a subject of some kind to really make a sunset picture great. Without a subject - silhouettes usually work the best - it's just a picture of pretty colours.

Scott Kelby offers this tip for "warmer" sunrises and sunsets. Use "Cloudy" white balance. Move the dot in the submenus three spots to the right (A3) (Canon and Nikon).

This. Without a subject, you find yourself wandering all over the picture. Whether day or night, skies need a mountain, a tree, a person... something... to tell the story of the picture.

Thank you all so much.

And.. yeah my camera kinda old and I'm not sure why it puts that line in the pictures... but it's annoying.
