Bought this earlier today in a charity shop (thrift store) for GB£ 22.50 (~US$ 30):

Sized, SOOC camera jpeg (Nikon 'Standard' picture profile, default settings):

Just to add -for completeness- the test jpeg was made using a polarising filter. The box for the lens illustrates the optical scheme as being seven elements in five groups.
