super imposing a cloudy vision?

does any body know hot to do this?

i have a picture of a girl thinking, and there is a lot of space ont rhe side of her. so i wanted to add in a smaller pic, and make it look like shes thinking of that. i can figure out how to put the two images together, but what i don't know how to do is, make the smaller one look cloudy, or dreamy.. also the backround is just black....anyone have any examples, or ideas on what i can do?

There are any number of things that you could do with editing software like Photoshop. What do you have to work with?

You could use a brush and paint clouds around the image. You could use some sort of blur around the edges. You could find an image of clouds and layer it onto the image. Lots of way to do it...

i took the image of the girl on the left and added the girl on the right(same girl i know use any pic you want) but a made her smaller and put it up in the right hand corner. play around with it and see what you get.

I obviously enlarged the canvas size to fit in the extra images, then transported two images and fiddled with the smudge tool in Photoshop. It would have helped if the main shot of the girl was looking into the shot and upwards. Just a thought.

yeah your right, but i just happened to take the picture while we were just messing around, and it just looked like she was thinking of something, and i had a lot of empty space. i like what you did though it looks great. i bet shell think its really funny.



how do you think the lighting was for the shot though?
