super macro (digital) rose

Yes I am at it again, not sure why I feel so compelled to get such detailed shots of rainy roses, but . . . there it is!

Does this strike you in any way, or is it just another boring shot of a boring flower??

(it was just after a rainshower, when the sun was coming out. rose is a bit past it's prime but I found this image quite charming)

exactly, there's too much bright.
you should try a faster shutter speed, or reducing light with PS
 
I love the detail but agree that it is a little too bright. Lovely shot though :D
 
Thanks guys! I did brighten it a bit in PhotoShop . .. I guess once my fingers started dancing across the controls I didn't know when to stop! hhaaha

the original is also a bit too overexposed, I see now.
 
Its not really a super macro at all, have you seen some of the things macro lenses can do?

It is over exposed though, it would be a nice shot if properly exposed. I would have also tried to fit the whole flower in the frame
