For me personally, I'm afraid, it falls in the "ugly" category (using one of the two adjectives you put on offer) ... to say it shortly: I don't like the effect.

But others may very, very well like it...!!!

wouldn't call it ugly, would call it interesting but not pleasing the eye.

Also the colours are too neon for me, or maybe too many different intense colours too localised.

But that is just not my taste, so it is a very personal comment
