Swimming Picture

About a month ago I had to shoot a local swim meet for the newspaper I do some work for and I was trying to get creative because swimming is quite boring after the first heat of swimmers go. So I shot this with a 10.5 Sigma Fish Eye on a D300. I am looking for some feed back on what every one things. Thanks

I love it. The fisheye has given the shot quite a nice perspective. It'd definitely stand out in the paper.

Nice photo and very interesting perspective... how close were you from the swimmer, and was she put off at all? I have often thought about how to photograph swimming, but as you say, it can be very boring. I have to photograph swimming championships in Canberra latter this year, so any advice would be appreciated.
