Tailgate (warning: dead birds)

The firearm lying on the birds is, to me, powerful. I find myself wishing that I could see more of the dog and the legs of the person to add a stronger sense of accomplishment to the image.
 
Been awhile since I've been in the field. I've had the pleasure of hunting over Britts for many years. I enjoy, watching a good dog work. Unfortunately my current Britt (rescue) is terrified of noises. I believe her first owner traumatized her trying to train her.

Yeah, I agree. Almost better if the dog wasn't in the picture in a way.

Yes ...it's always a delicate dance. I start banging on pots and pans while they feed at 8 weeks old. Graduate to feeding them at the gun range.
