Tamron 10-24 mm. Anyone use it/like it?

We are planning a trip and I'm needing a wide angle lens to take good landscape shots. Has anyone tried the Tamron SP AF 10-24mm f / 3.5-4.5 DI II Zoom Lens For Nikon DSLR Cameras and if so, what do you think of it. The Nikon's are just so high!

I have one and I enjoy using it very much. The clarity is much better on D7000 than my Fujifilm S2 pro. I find that the sharpness is barely acceptable at wide open, 10mm f3.5 but is sharp at about 5.6 and above. I use it for mostly landscape, tight spaces, and fun perspective exaggeration. I'm also planning to do some videos with it. Everything stays focus on this lens, which is helpful for video
