Just curious if anyone has used the Tamron 17-50mm with the Nikon D50? I tried the combination a little while back and had an issue where every picture I took was overexposed, regardless on whether or not I was using a flash.

Has anyone else noticed this problem or is it possible I just got a bad sample?

I had that happen with that exact lens on a D80. I returned it, did not replace it (I wasn't very impressed by the sharpness of it, either)... but I may have had a ban sample of it.

Maybe that particular lens is just allergic to Nikon's. My Canon version is sharp, quick to focus and an all around good lens, with the exception of the louder focus motor. :lmao::lol::lmao::lol:

I liked it well enough to keep it around ever though I have the 16-35 f2.8L and the 24-70 f2.8L.
