I'm trying my best not to overtake the People Photography forum, but it's my busy season so I tend to have a lot more to share.
These are a few of my favorites from a recent session.
Some info on the lighting:
For the high-key images, I used a three-light flash setup:
-Main light: a 4' octagonal softbox, feathered (angled slightly away from the model) to create softer, indirect light.
-Background lights: two 1x4' strip boxes aimed at the back wall of the white cyclorama to blow it out and produce the glowing white background effect.
For the gray backdrop shots, I used a two-light flash setup:
-Main light: a 7' parabolic white bounce umbrella.
-Hair light: a 1x4' gridded strip box positioned slightly above and behind the model.
-A white V-flat was placed opposite the main light to provide subtle bounce fill light.
All images were taken using a Canon 5D Mark III and the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II lens.
