Team Photo Settings??????

Hello, I am a videographer and recently I was asked to shoot some team photos of a basketball team. I have a Nikon D80/SB600 flash but rarely use it, just for video purposes only. I dont believe there is high expectation to how the photos look considering last years results, but I do want something, at least to be able to work with in CS5 to get decent results. I wont have any lights except my SB 600 and the GYM lights of course, but I was wondering how to get decent results from this? ISO? Aperture? Shutter? Remotely use Flash or mount on camera? Thanks in advance!!
