Terns

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share a few photos of Terns that I took on a recent trip to the lake district. Hope you like!

I think there's potential in #1. Maybe a longer DOF to get the ripples in focus too?

#2 is a nice shot.:thumbup: What lake were these taken on?

These were taken on Windermere, waiting for the ferry to windermere, some other people were feeding them so I started 'papping' away!

nice shots!! What lens were you using?? I think they are Gulls (Bonapart) << not sure on the spelling!

Ah yes, after a google image search they do look more like those!

It was the Nikon 70-300G, a fairly horrible lens, hence I haven't shown you the million wasted shots. Digital is fairly useful for wildlife!
