Greetings. I just came across this website (I'm always looking for new photography sites) and registered.

I thought I'd say hello by posting a shot of one of my favorite places in the world.

This was taken in the Grand Teton National Park last August.

Very nice. The mountain looks really.. well.. majestic. And I like how the sharp edges at the top contrast so well with the sky. Beautiful shot.

This is a digital shot taken with a Sony CD1000. I don't recall cropping it, but I may have.
 
One of these days I'll make it that far south. Do Tetons and Jellystone in the same trip.

Great photo .. seems it folows all the DOs ... rule of thirds .. framing .. great photo!
 
Nice shot. The way it has collapsed in the centre I imagine that its of vulcanic origin but the rock looks too pale. Do you know what it is?
