I think an interesting PoV would've been about another 15' to your left.

I'm thinking about re-shooting it using a small step ladder to get higher so the inner rail wouldn't cut the outbound lane in half and the end of the bridge, which is peeking up above the outer rail, would be more visible.

The above shot was 25 images merged in CS5 using the "median" method to eliminate the cars. I thought that they distracted from the form of the bridge. Here's one of those 25.

too much sky in the second one for me. Can you lean far out over the rail and try to catch the external lines? (safely of course....)

i like the comp. in the first image, but agree a slightly higher vantage point would have made it better. this location would make for some cool night shots with car trails.
