I think you're thinking high-key, which is very different from over-exposed but can easily be confused with it. The giveaway is that you lost the tone separation in the highlights, which arguably should be your most important goal in a wedding shoot.
Wedding Photography is something that I am VERY serious about and want to learn all I can. Any practice I can get is invaluable. Thanks to everyone on this forum. There is SO much information, it is sometimes overwhelming!!
