    I tried this with my friend's Canon and I landed a 3 cover photo contract with National Geographic. Try it, you'll see.

    I thought the answer was "Buy a Nikon!" lol! <j/k>!

    I actually find that it's much easier to just compose a shot, get the proper exposure, and then actuate the shutter. I see no need to paint any of my lenses.

    Studies have shown that this very effective.

    Does this work if we colour the body as well? :p

    (I have this urge to do this my 18-55 haha)

    i suspect its the sniffing paint, not the color that allows for the improved shots?

    Funny. Although I have a 28-70 L series glass and love it.

    Doggone it--you have now told EVERYBODY who reads your post what CANON DOES when they manufacture each L-series lens--they slap a red ring around it!!!!!!!!!
