I had a newborn session a few weeks ago, they also wanted a family photo. I suck at family pictures... lol I just can not pose people so it looks good.

Any cc is appreciated.

I like them and think you did a nice job with these. Can I ask what kind of light set up you work with? Well I just did but you can choose not to answer I suppose.

My lighting is one sb-600 bounced into a shoot through umbrella. The light is facing away from them.

Is the pose with the baby draped over the father's arm common at all right now? I've never seen it before, but to be honest I find it kind of disturbing. The baby looks... well, lifeless.

Otherwise these are all great, you did a great job with simple lighting and I'm impressed with your work as always.

oh yes it is very common and requested.... They also wanted the one with the mom hand on top....

I do like it for my newborn boys but I don't care for it for the girl babies...

Ababysean, it's always nice to see your work and again it looks great. Even got a smile in 2.
The last two in black and white are not pleasing, seems a little on the morbid side in appearance to me.
I would think the color might be better.

I agree w Orionsbyte. The baby looks lifeless in that photo w the baby on the arms but i LOVE the first pic. Its very beautiful and what parent wouldnt want that photo in their house. I cant believe the baby looks as if he/she is smiling!
