I wanted to recorded down the wall in a perspective different from ordinary angle. Hope you enjoy them. :p

No problem with the lighting here, I say, other than that it is an interesting sun. And the clear blue sky adds to the colour of the wall itself.

I think your experiment of "playing with the curves" is working perfectly well here! I find your angles very interesting and have never seen pictures of the Great Wall like these! Makes them fairly outstanding (but I've also just said so about your other lot on this wall!). I still mean it :)
 
Ok...I'm gonna have to go to the off topic section now and add China to one of the places I wanna visit!
