During our last snowfall I was set up to photograph birds in flight from my feeder when I noticed this composition. My Nikon D300 with 300 mm F/2.8 lens was set at 1/2000 @ f/5.6 +1.5 EV with ISO at 560, I very quickly repositioned my focus to this capture.

Nice shot on the birds but the snow is awfully bright.

Hi Renol I used the levels black and white points to set the brightness and exposure and I may have over done it , the camera likes to do snow at 18% gray and I don't want Grey snow. The sun was shining and it was very white everywhere , it's hard to maintain detail in the birds and not turn the snow overly white. Thanks for the comments Randall
