The moon

Hi all,
Just what it says on the tin, a shot of the moon....

I have tried this a few times before and never managed to get anything that I liked.

At least this one is in focus, but I still didn't get what I wanted.
Despite what the photo shows, we had some interesting cloud cover tonight but I couldn't work out how to expose for the clouds without blowing the moon?

Any C&C or advice would be great.

P.s I am only playing around with bordered at the moment so any advice you have on that would be great, for now the website is work in progress.

HDR is the answer.

I think its great, just be sure to use flash next time .

Gaz I had thought HDR may be the way to go but that would be some extreme exposure bracketing.... will give it a go...

Flash?? Would that help light the clouds?

Lol, it was a joke. I highly doubt any flash has the range to reach clouds let alone the moon.

Besides, if you used a flash, you might wake up the man in the moon.

Hehe yea. I like laughing at tourists who use flash when taking pictures of a sunset. Well, laughing to myself at least
