The new guy, ready to learn

Hi Everyone,

Wanted to introduce myself as the new guy. I am 23 and about to graduate with a BS in Product design in 2 months. I am starting to work on my portfolio and so I want to grow my knowledge in photography to help me get great shots of my work to use in my portfolio.

My camera is older, but I think it will do the trick. Once I know what I am doing!

Just had a local professional photographer shoot two of my finished projects for $45 in alcohol. Great guy, great job, and he brought in a model as well. I am excited to get those photos!

Watching him work inspired me to learn just a little about the ideas and techniques he used to get me such great shots. So off to reading and learning I go.

Im sure I will have questions and want some feedback and critique at some point. So I'll see you around the boards.
