THE Nikon MF...

I am a Nikon man. I have two Canon AE-1's (one is regular, the other is a program) and I want to get the Nikon equivalent. There are lots of manual Canon fans that love the AE-1...what is the Nikon equivalent of the AE-1? a FG? FM? EM? what should I look for?

Also, I have some Ai-S lenses...I would love to get a body that they would work on.
