thanks guys. i had to stop by here early this morning and while talking i pressed the shutter by accident. the pic actually sucks; i was set to manual from a previous shot and the thing was underexposed a mile, but when i started messing around in PS and chose a preset curve setting i had stored, i liked what happened.
