The Photo Forum newbie... ready for my first C&C

I've been spending a lot of time on this forum and love all of the C&C you guys give to the photos.... guess I am finally brave enough to put up one of mine.

First things... I realize I need to calibrate my monitor at home because this photo looks a lot darker on the computer I'm using. So other than that, I appreicate your feedback!

not a bad shot but i would have opened up that aperture more to blur that background out more. to me, he looks underexposed

Thank you for your comments. I think it looks under exposed because of the difference in computer monitors. What's the best way to calibrate it? Is there a section in the forum for that?

I agree, he does look underexposed, one thing to keep an eye on is how his hands are cropped out, take a step back and get him more in frame imho.
