the photo journey

hi guys,
well i am going to india this summer to meet my family and i got this idea to pick a characteristic that best represents each of my relatives and take picture that brings that out. i don't know if any of you did this before but if you were to, how would you approach this, for instance if you want to portray 'juvenile', what would you do?...i was thinking beach, sunset and something silly or a group of friends with varied expressions. what do you think?
P.S: I know this is a Broad topic but any thoughts\opinions are welcome.

I think this is an excellent project to pursue! For juvenile I would look for something playful. But that's just me. It all depends on your own taste.

You could do a seated portrait of the person dressed in something that would be suitable for someone half their age and have them hold a Big ball or a plastic pail & bucket on their lap - you know, make them look like a big kid.
