Finally, the outdoor extensive planting beds of spring flowers at the Planting fields have really come into their own. All beds are done alphabetically, making for some interesting plantings and compositions. Yet each bed was just that more spectacular then the previous one. Being a private Arboretum and planting fields, you just can't go and come as you please.
While I love nothing better then to start my shoot right before sunrise, the gates aren't opened till 9am, and that's early compared to many other venues. So yesterday I was forced to deal with bright, contrasty light. I thought about bringing my white umbrella, but decided that I would try to make the light work for me, rather then fight it. To some extent I succeeded, but I had more then my share of failures.
Here's the 1st in a series of posts. This post is all about white and almost white florals.
