the wood

took this the other day at some woods somewhere off of a trail. I was touring the 'washington on the brazos' historical site in Texas...anyways. I tried a square format for fun, hope you like it

I am not a big fan of the square crop, but this really works here... other then that, the only thing I can think of saying is.. Spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your treatment adds HEAPS to its impact.
While I would normally say: let me see all the green there is in this world, here I quite quite like the "silvery moon"-aspect you gave it, giving it this slightly eerie slightly fairy tale aspect. WOW.

craig, I actually decided on the square crop just for fun - I never use it and thought I'd try it out

alex - I don't really remember what I did exactly, there was alot of little stuff. Mostly dodging and burning of shadows/highlights, a green channel conversion, some toning, and a little diffuse glow.
