I went back on the road yesterday looking for abandoned houses and found quite a few, to my surprise. I thought that Manitoba had dried up in terms of new abandonments (that sounds kind of ironic), but I might have ran into rich, untapped territory.

As soon as I happened upon this scene, on the top floor of a totally vandalized house, I realized I had found not just the title but also the cover for my book of images of abandoned Canada.

LOL! I thought the colours worked great here so I didn't even try a B&W conversion

Second time viewing - it still looks to me like the body of a fish (the graduated blue color) in the process of being cut open. (the slats behind look like muscle fibres)
