There's a frog on my table

This past summer I was visiting my sister and brother in law in Michigan. He and I were in the kitchen shortly after dusk when he spotted a frog outside on his patio table. I couldn't imagine how a toad could get on top of a table but upon closer inspection I could see it is a tree frog.
