Where are you buying your camera? Have you actually spoken with anyone there yet?

When they start wanting to throw in accessories that you don't need, you should be suspecting a scam. If they try to throw in accessories that should come with the camera (battery charger (or even the battery), cables, anything else that normally comes in the box) - it's no longer suspect, it is a scam.

Why are you thinking that a polarizer or a view finder accessory should be included? These are accessories not normally included with a camera and kit lens base price packages from reputable camera retailers.
