Thinking of Upgrading

Insta boring 2,400 bucks later.

What would you do?I have been thinking of upgrading lately and came up with two paths for upgrading:

Sell D700 and buy D4

or

#2
Sell 50mm 1.4g, 70-300mm and buy 24-70 f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8

The D700 is an awfully good camera (I have a 700 and 800). Most of the reason for a D4 would be pretty small differences. I switched to prime lenses. Did my photography a real improvement, and increase in resolution of photos. The pro-primes... They are light and fast! JD

Camera gear is either tools for doing a job, tools for creating art, or toys for having fun. In most cases it is a little bit of all 3. Only you can decide which is going to give you the most bang for the buck. I'd go for the glass as your body isn't obsolete by a long shot.
