I don't know why exactly, but this type of straight forward PJish shot appeals to me, so I tried it. I tried to replicate what i'd do in the darkroom more or less, to give it a more traditional look:

I agree! He has a very sweet expression, and looks like "another" one of those dogs who lets the tongue hang out a lot.
