This is driving me BONKERS!

Cleaning out the backpack, and found this little critter hiding in one of the corners:

Soft rubber, very pliable. About ¾" long. Obviously torn off of something, but I don't have anything in my pack that has much of this material, let alone anything that's missing a piece. The only thing that has any substantial amount of this stuff is my Gossen meter, but it's totally intact and the rubber is more like 18% gray.

I absolutely HATE mysteries like this!

I found a small screw that came out of one of my cameras but I don't know which one or where it came from, and yeah, it's driving me bonkers too

These objects are thrown into all kind of things, it is like finding a few extra screws when putting things together. If it was made in China it's just to mess with your mind, and apparently it's working.
