Hello!
I feel like a post in the introduction section is a bit obligatory... especially since this is clearly the most anticipated and perused section of the forum!
My name is Colin and I am a university student from Minneapolis just getting into photography. I have long had an interest in photography, but finally bought in with a Canon T3i. I have several friends who have either the T3 or the T3i, and their confidence and appreciation of it was definitely a major factor in my choice.
Another major factor is that I am doing some extensive traveling in Europe and Africa over the next year, of which I hope to document well.
