Nice composition. Its a shame the stem is out of focus as i feel it spoils the pic a little.

I really, really like this. Stem doesn't bother me, but I'm a huge fan of shallow DOF on these types of shots. It's beautiful.

Thanks for the comments. Kanikula, I agree. The DOF is a bit too shallow.

To me it looks a little dark/flat - there don't seem to be any real highlights in the shot and as a result, the subject doesn't pop off the screen at you. You could try adjusting the levels or contrast to see if it lifts it a little, you could also see if sharpening it a little helps.
