I can see what your trying to do, I think. The lamp, the tree trunk, kind've a lonely scene. Maybe if it was taken at night, and a bit closer? Then you could have a burning lamp, and the silhouete (?) of a tree trunk...

Yes, I like the bricks leading to this lamp. The walk way extends to it, and just stops. No left turns, no right turns, just walk to the lamp and stip. Also I wanted to post the picture to se if it was noticed that the ground and the ceiling were both on a slant.

If you want me to look that far into the picture, I would crop it a little bit. My eyes stop well before that point because there is nothing to really draw it in. Just my 2 cents.
