Thoughts on 35mm 1.8

Picked up the 35 f/2 today as the local store had it in stock....love it so far! I did a quick side by side comparison of the f/1.4 and f/2 and slight differences, but nothing that I felt, with what I shoot, required spending 1800$ on...love the f/2 so far...its sharp, may not be 1.4 sharp but so far I am impressed!

Anyone used the 35mm f1.8 on FX (not in DX crop mode)? Love the 35mm focal length and want to add it to the collection so starting to look at my options. I've read about the vignetting on FX, but that it isn't too bad wide open.

Not very noticeable at 1.8.
Here is an example. Sorry for the missed focus... They don't pay me to focus, I outsource that.

Little more noticeable on lighter colors to be expected.
